Princess Poppy

princess poppy

Ingredients: Olive oil/Coconut oil/Palm oil/Rose water/Tea Rose Fragrance oil/Pink clay/Poppy seeds.

Made: 12th September 2008
Unmold: 13th September 2008
Ready to use: 12th October 2008

With the 72% olive oil used, this formula is very gentle to our delicate skin. Pink clay's hydrating properties help to refine delicate lines, moisturise, and improve the overall texture of the skin. Rose water is used for its lovely scent, and also for its light astringent properties.Poppy seeds are added for light exfoliating purpose. Suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin.

I forgot that this fragrance oil will make the soap trace quickly. So, by the time i've added everything, the soap has already fully traced and is quite difficult to be poured into the mold. The result? the soap is holey when cut. oh well, at least they smells lovely and i'm sure this will turn out nice and bubbly.

Sounds lovely Jessica. So what if it seizes as long as it smells gorgeous, and the recipe sounds great! (As a seasoned maker of seized soap, I can sympathise :-) )
